GrowthBridge Finance Mentorship & Career Development Program:

Curriculum
  • 1344h Duration

Instructor’s Message:

Breaking into finance roles is not just about knowing concepts – it’s about understanding how finance actually works inside corporates and how interviewers evaluate candidates. As the Founder of GrowthBridge, and with 11+ years of experience across Investments and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and as a currently working finance professional, I have seen a consistent gap between how students prepare and what interviews truly test.

This program is designed to bridge that gap through direct 1-on-1 mentorship, not generic content or secondhand guidance. My focus is to help you gain clarity on finance roles, build the right skills in the right order, and develop the ability to articulate your preparation with confidence and structure.

The objective of this program is to make you placement-ready – by building the thinking, skills, fundamentals, and clarity that finance roles demand. This is a disciplined, execution-focused mentorship, built around structured preparation, honest feedback, and alignment with real corporate expectations. The focus is on helping you develop the capability to approach interviews with clarity, confidence, and a strong understanding of how finance actually works in practice.

While this is not a placement-guarantee program, however, in cases where I see strong alignment and readiness, I may, at my discretion, connect you with relevant opportunities or corporate professionals within my network. I have also shared my LinkedIn profile and updated resume below, so that you can review my background and experience before making a decision.

How this Program creates an Interview edge:

This mentorship focuses on what truly matters in interviews – especially concepts and thinking developed in real corporate environments. When your preparation reflects how finance professionals think and work, it naturally signals readiness to interviewers.

Program Features:

  • Founder-led, 1-on-1 mentorship by a currently working FP&A professional
  • 6 personalised mentorship sessions (30 minutes each) + 3 role-specific mock interviews 1 hour each with immediate feedback (each for 40 to 45 mins interview and 15 to 20 mins feedback session)
  • Structured skill-gap assessment aligned to today’s finance roles and expectations
  • Focused preparation roadmap - what to study, how deep to go, and in what order
  • Weekly check-ins to track progress and ensure accountability and guidance on corporate readiness concepts, not typically taught in college
  • Strictly limited to 30 students per cohort to ensure quality and personalised attention

Program Flexibility & Customization:

  •  The program offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing sessions to be planned based on your availability, subject to alignment with the founder’s calendar.
  • Candidates have the option to restructure the sequence of sessions – for example, completing all personalized mentorship sessions first, followed by mock interviews.
  •  You may also pause the program midway and schedule mock interviews at a later stage, closer to your summer internship or placement interviews. ➢
  • You may also reduce the frequency of sessions from 1 session each week to 1 session every bi-weekly. The program timeline would then be extended from 9 weeks to up to 18 weeks, by opting for biweekly sessions instead of weekly sessions, at no additional cost.
  •  The detailed weekly plan is provided in the annexure at the end. While the proposed structure serves as a guideline, it can be customized to place greater emphasis on specific areas based on individual requirements.
  •  All session bookings require prior notice and coordination, and will be scheduled based on mutual availability with the founder.
  • If you have any specific preferences or customization requests, feel free to share them – we will accommodate them wherever feasible.

This flexibility ensures that the program aligns with your preparation journey, rather than forcing you into a fixed structure.

Annexure 1: Weekly Plan Details (Indicative & Customizable)

Week 1: Role Orientation & Career Roadmap

We begin with a detailed discussion on your career aspirations and openness across finance roles. You’ll get a clear overview of major finance domains, what each role actually involves in corporate settings, and how interview expectations differ by role. A preliminary resume review is also conducted.

Week 2: Skill Gap Diagnosis & Focus Plan

A structured skill-gap assessment is conducted to identify gaps between your current profile and your target role. Based on this, you receive a focused, role-specific preparation roadmap—what to study, how deep to go, and in what sequence.

Week 3: Corporate Readiness Check-in

We review your progress against the roadmap and refine the plan where needed. Guidance is provided on corporate-specific concepts and thinking that are rarely taught in college but frequently tested in interviews, to strengthen your job-readiness narrative.

Week 4: Mock Interview 1 & Feedback

Your first mock interview simulates real interview conditions for your target role. You receive immediate, detailed feedback on technical answers, clarity of thought, structure, and overall interview presence, along with specific improvement actions.

Week 5: Skill Strengthening & Proof of Work

This week focuses on sharpening weak areas identified earlier and, where relevant, guiding you to build 1–2 rolerelevant artifacts (such as a mini model, case analysis, or finance dashboard) to strengthen interview discussions beyond theory.

Week 6: Progress Review & Interview Polishing

A focused review of preparation progress, resume positioning, and how effectively you are articulating your experience and skills. We work on improving answer depth, commercial awareness, and linking concepts to realworld finance scenarios.

Week 7: Mock Interview 2 & Refinement

The second mock interview tests improvement and depth. Feedback is sharper and more role-specific, focusing on readiness gaps, answer maturity, and areas that still need focused preparation before final interviews.

Week 8: Final Mock Interview & Readiness Assessment

The final mock interview evaluates overall interview readiness. You receive a consolidated readiness assessment, final feedback, and last-mile guidance on what to revise, reinforce, or avoid going into internship or final placement interviews.

If you are committed to improving your preparation, this program can significantly accelerate your journey and help you stand out in interviews with a strong edge.

Week 9: Flexible, Student driven, high-impact session

The final session is fully tailored to your specific needs and can be used in the way that adds maximum value to your preparation. This session may be utilized for:

A final round of interview preparation just before your scheduled interviews (Additionally, this session can also be used as another mock interview of 30 mins followed by a 15 mins feedback session)

  • Deep-diving into any specific topic or concept you want additional clarity on.
  • Reviewing and refining your resume, projects, or talking points.
  • Addressing any remaining doubts, gaps, or areas of concern.
  • Strengthening overall confidence and last-mile readiness

This flexibility ensures that the program adapts to your unique requirements, rather than following a fixed structure, providing a strong finishing edge to your preparation.
